Julien Pal

I am part of a team dedicated to disseminating best development practices around Angular and Springboot technologies within the company. This mission relies on active technological monitoring to identify, test, document, and promote these best practices. We provide support to other development teams through coaching, technical support, and leading presentations aimed at sharing knowledge and reinforcing quality standards.

During my assignment, I worked on:

Technical Standards and Guidelines

• Define and document development standards by implementing Golden Paths.

• Support teams in adopting best development and deployment practices.

• Deploy, maintain, and customize Backstage (templating and application portal) to simplify and industrialize developers' work.

Innovation and AI (GitHub Copilot)

• Participate in the deployment of GitHub Copilot within the company (developing an assessment and license management tool).

• Lead training sessions and events to raise awareness among teams about AI opportunities.

Design System (Angular)

• As a member of the Core Team, I participated in the design and enrichment of the Angular component library.

• Realize a PoC WebComponents to extend the use of the Design System to other technologies.

Cross-functional and Security Projects (Angular, React, Terraform, Springboot, Kubernetes)

• Develop application security tools (GitLab rules).

• Design and maintain multi-technology technical solutions.

• Develop a Terraform provider for Forgerock (OAuth2).

• Develop project templates containing best practices for development, quality, and solution deployment.

• Develop a shared CI chain, then migrate to Gitlab CI/CD components.

Software engineer responsible for the development and maintenance of internal tools developed in Java and VueJS.
