Design engineer, Staff engineer or even front architect, I am a lead developer with a strong appetite for design and UX with over 15 years of experience.

Specialized in reusable components, CSS optimizations, animations, and design systems. I have developed with React, Node, Ember, MondoDB, as well as in vanilla and Web-Components. For the UI/UX part, I have had the opportunity to use all sorts of design tools like Figma, Zeplin, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, or even In-Design (when I was doing print at the beginning of my career).

Technical lead and main link between the UX and dev teams.

We first developed a library of design tokens for Figma and then for the group's developers (CSS variables deployed on the internal npm registry), then a library of vanilla components, then in Angular, and finally in Web Components. All supervised by an accessibility expert.

The design system addresses more than 15 brands and a light theme and dark theme version for approximately 2000 tokens.

Figma highlighted the design system during its last online conference, to illustrate our use of Figma variables.

In charge of a small team of front-end developers, we redesigned a strategic part (the shopping cart) of the company's website with React and Redux. We also had to maintain legacy Java while deploying new customer journeys.
Unit and snapshot tests with Jest, and end-to-end tests in Selenium for our QAs. Storybook and Swagger documentation.

Co-creation of a shared component library in React, deployed on the internal npm registry, to be used by other teams who were also migrating their front-end stack from Angular.js to React.

Design (UI + UX) and full-stack development of a chaos engineering portal to help teams test the resilience of their products in production.

The front-end was in React, Redux, Webpack and the back-end in Node.js, MongoDB.

Redesign of the SNCF commercial card home pages with Angular.js (v1.4) and SpringBoot (Java).

My involvement occurred during the company's global rebranding, changing from Voyage SNCF to Oui.sncf.

Developments monitored and tested under high traffic conditions.
