Julien Gontard

Passionate about adventure, the outdoors, and sports, I've always seen imagery as a natural extension of my activities. A self-taught individual, I started with sports event photography, a demanding field that quickly allowed me to develop solid technical skills and a focus on action, authenticity, and storytelling.

Over the years, my career has expanded into the web, social media, and content strategy. Understanding how to build a brand identity, tell a coherent story, and engage a community has become the core of my profession. I learned these skills on the ground, in direct contact with user behaviors, constraints, and brand objectives.

After several experiences in organizing sports events, I worked at Red Bull as a Student Brand Manager, where I strengthened my skills in marketing, product strategy, brand activation, and commercial negotiation. In parallel with my studies at a sports business school, I launched my freelance activity at 19, with the clear goal of living my passion and supporting meaningful projects.

Today, I assist brands, companies, and institutions with global communication and content challenges in Europe and abroad, including:

photo and video creation, editorial strategy, social media, multi-support graphic design, website creation, digital communication audits and training, as well as event management and production.

This cross-functional approach has allowed me to collaborate with numerous brands in the sports, outdoor, and lifestyle sectors, and to build an engaged community on Instagram. Building on this experience, I also develop professional training programs for both the education sector and private organizations, with a practical, pedagogical, and field-oriented approach.
