During my years in business, I have often observed the same phenomenon. An application starts with a clear vision and moves forward quickly. Then, over time, development becomes longer, bugs more frequent, and unexpected behaviors harder to identify.
The application still works, but each evolution becomes riskier than the previous one. Some modifications are postponed, others are avoided, until the famous "let's not touch anything anymore, it works for now" eventually sets in. Technology then ends up imposing its limits on the business rather than supporting it.
My role is to help organizations understand why they have reached this point, to correct the causes of these problems in order to continue evolving the application with control and confidence.
