Teleoperators perform redundant tasks, such as retrieving information from the OTRS software, filling out a shared Excel file, and executing a series of actions on the OTRS application to send an email to the customer and close the ticket. This process involves approximately nine steps per ticket.Proposed Solution
Creation of a Chrome Extension:- Adds a button on the ticket page in OTRS to retrieve necessary information and check if a refund is possible or has already been issued.
- Benefits: Reduction of redundant tasks and centralization of information.
Task Automation:- Automates actions to be performed on the teleoperator's screen to simplify ticket processing.
- Benefits: Time savings and reduction of human errors.
Setup of a Local N8N Server:- Retrieves, filters, sorts, and formats information transmitted by the extension to check the Excel file and add refund lines.
- Verifies the refund amount and creates a new file if the amount exceeds a certain threshold.
Making the File Available on an FTP Server:- Stores the Excel file securely and accessibly to facilitate information access for teleoperators.
