- Dext Habitat3D Parametric Tool Developer for BuildingsARCHITECTURE AND URBAN PLANNINGJune 2023 - September 2023 (3 months)Freelance mission for Dext Habitat, a company specializing in building extensions with a network of franchisees.Context & Problem: Dext Habitat sought to equip all its franchisees with a simplified and efficient 3D modeling tool capable of quickly handling most configurations and options encountered in house extension projects (joinery, cladding, roof windows...). The goal was to provide a consistent and effective solution for their entire network.Solution Developed: I designed and developed a custom automated modeling solution based on a highly complex SketchUp dynamic component. This component parametrically integrates the various key elements of an extension (structure, joinery, cladding, roof windows, etc.), allowing for quick configuration and instant visualization of different options.Results & Impact: This solution now provides Dext Habitat franchisees with an intuitive and powerful 3D tool, enabling them to autonomously and rapidly model most of their extension projects. I provided a complex technical answer to a need for operational simplification for a network of professionals, allowing them to gain efficiency and standardization.
- Pergola deFrance3D Designer / AutomationARCHITECTURE AND URBAN PLANNINGJanuary 2022 - May 2022 (4 months)Freelance mission through my company Agilité 3D for the brand Pergola de France.**Context & Problem**: The company faced significant difficulties in managing custom wooden pergola requests. The manual process (design, modeling, plans, data extraction for quotes) was extremely time-consuming and inefficient, hindering the development of this high-potential offering.**Solution Developed**: I designed and implemented a complete automation solution for the design-to-sales chain based on:**SketchUp**: Creation of complex dynamic components enabling real-time modeling of custom pergolas via an intuitive form, including dimensions, colors, finishes, etc., with automatic update of measurements in the 3D model.**LayOut**: Dynamic link with 3D models to automatically generate personalized commercial and assembly plans with a few clicks.**Excel**: Automated export of 3D model data to facilitate and accelerate the creation of accurate quotes.This solution was deployed for attached pergolas and freestanding pergolas.Results & Impact:The implementation of this system reduced the time required for modeling and creating the commercial plan from several hours to less than 5 minutes per project.Most importantly, this optimization made the custom offer viable and profitable, leading to a major transformation for the company: over 80% of sales are now custom pergolas.I provided a concrete 3D engineering solution that directly impacted the client company's productivity and growth.
