Julien Chapron

I have been a full-stack developer for 7 years, mainly with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, with experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP infrastructure.

My career path is a bit unusual: before development, I spent 11 years in stonemasonry on historical monuments. I retrained in 2017 through Wild Code School in Toulouse. I've kept the same approach in coding as I had with stone: understand before acting, do it properly, don't break anything.

My main experience is four years at Renault Ampere Software Technology, via CELAD, working on an internal application for electric vehicle onboard computers, the tool used by Renault engineers. Frontend React, backend Node/TypeScript in REST and GraphQL, within a team that varied from 3 to 11 developers, with interventions across the 11 repositories in scope. I also participated in a cloud migration phase on GCP and Kubernetes, including production incident diagnostics.

Before that, I worked at the CNRS on a data catalog interface in React, and for three years at Ethics Group on survey applications in Vue.js and Laravel.

Today, I am preparing for the AWS Solutions Architect certification and seeking a position in a structured team, remotely or hybrid in Toulouse.
