Julien Briffotaux

Throughout my career, I have led applied research projects in biotechnology, notably at the Pasteur Institute of Shanghai and Shenzhen Hospital, where I designed and directed studies on bacterial resistance, screening of new active molecules, and the implementation of robotic platforms. My contribution to the creation of a "joint lab" on tuberculosis between the Pasteur Institute, Shenzhen Hospital, and an industrial partner involved effective coordination between various teams and resulted in significant achievements in the development of diagnostic tests and the identification of antimicrobial molecules, all of which have been published or patented.

More recently, I contributed to the analytical development of biopolymer purification methods at the Institute of Structural Biology in Grenoble and supported Uriage laboratories on issues of validation and compliance in microbiology. Furthermore, my current role at Sanofi, as a Quality Control Officer in the Physico-Chemical laboratory, allows me to acquire transversal skills in quality control and regulatory data in a GMP environment.
