Julien Baumeyer

Profile

Graduated from INSA CVL (formerly ENIVL) in mechatronics with a dual degree in robotics research master's. I completed my Cifre Ph.D in robotics within a company. I previously worked as a project manager in the Innovation department for special machinery for several years in the agri-food industry.

I completed various internships during my studies: Qt/c++ developer in the military industry, followed by a C developer internship on Linux to manage strong RFID authentication (Linux PAM driver) still in the military sector.

I also worked as an engineering intern to optimize the battery life of a motorcycle airbag embedded system on Freescale targets (embedded C development).

I completed a final year project in C++ / ROS development on Linux for the control strategy of a mobile robot (ANR-Proteus research project).

I like to be close to the field, test, validate, as a good prototype is often worth more than a long speech, to then propose an industrial solution based on verified hypotheses.
