Julie Mouvet

I'm Julie. A journalist by training, I roamed the media for 10 years (print, web, radio, TV) always with a strong foothold in social media. Content creation, editorial strategy, community management, videos, photos... I love doing everything, and especially doing it well.

In March 2022, I joined the KIKK Festival in Namur for a two-year mission. Objective: to launch a media outlet, kingkong, from scratch with a great colleague. Result? Editor-in-chief, managing a team of freelancers, international reporting, videos, events… Two intense, ultra-formative, and downright fascinating years.

Since then, I've been self-employed and offer my communication services:

▸ Community management: creation of editorial calendars, post writing, photos/videos, publication and community engagement

▸ Copywriting: articles, newsletters, blogs, biographies

▸ Content creation: photos, videos, and podcasts

▸ Event moderation: debate moderation, conference and round table facilitation

▸ Press relations: writing and distribution of press releases or kits, media follow-up and outreach

▸ Training: practical workshops, individual or group, on social media, video editing, and podcasting

In short, I continue to do what I love: create, tell, connect.

In parallel, I also launched two personal projects that are dear to my heart:

↳ Compose, a podcast where I meet people who dare to create.

↳ Drôle de Mouv, a non-profit organization for the promotion of stand-up comedy that I co-founded with my sister.
