Julie Jup

Independent illustrator and graphic designer since 2016, I support startups, VSEs, and publishing houses in creating their visual identities. I have developed numerous brand identities: logos, packaging, graphic guidelines, and various communication materials. Thanks to my illustration practice, I also help companies enrich their communication with expressive and colorful visuals, which I sometimes animate frame by frame to create loops.

More recently, I collaborated with the press, notably Le Monde and L'Éléphant magazine, and I had the opportunity to design all the cards for a board game for Aritma, in partnership with Asmodee.

My illustration style blends touches of the dreamlike with everyday scenes. I primarily work in digital painting, but also with acrylics, seeking fluid and shifting nuances. Weaving connections between the visible and the invisible allows me to explore our emotions, question our relationship with the world and living beings, through strange situations and metamorphoses. Each illustration thus becomes an invitation to dream, feel, and question.
