Julia J.

Freelance photographer and art director for over 8 years, passionate about images since always, she loves creating universes that tell stories, capture an emotion or reveal an identity. Her work seeks to translate into images what words sometimes struggle to express: an atmosphere, a suspended moment, a singularity. A child of the circus, she grew up in the heart of the artistic world under the influence of a renowned photographer father, before training at a photography school.

Her Bachelor's degree in Photography and Video from the Gobelins school allowed her to develop a comprehensive and demanding approach to the profession. She learned to master light, compose an image and its artistic direction, direct a model, but also to think about each project in its entirety — from conception to post-production. This versatility nourishes her artistic freedom and her ability to adapt to very different universes.
