Jules F.

Jules Le Bihan, illustrator and lover of surprising narrative processes. He is also the ideal person for your graphic design needs. He obviously did not write this third-person biography himself from his office.

BACKGROUND:

Born in 1994.

In 2013, he designed the set for F. Wedekind's "Spring Awakening" for the theater company Chat Noir. Performed for 2 years at the Pixel theater in Paris, at the OFF festival in Avignon, in St-Malo, Vichy, Nancy, and at the Bastille theater for the Rideau Rouge festival 2015 (award for best direction).

Until 2016, he worked for UpCycly, an eco-responsible design startup: designing structures from recycled materials and leading workshops.

In 2017, he volunteered at the Bread and Puppet Theater (USA), where he created "Sous le Parachute" (Créart'Up 2017 Award from the Paris City Hall & 2018 Honorary Medal from the City of Paris) as well as three short pieces that make up the show "The Evening Proofs". That year, he also collaborated with two Moroccan authors, Imane Djamil and Hajar Chokairi, for the performance "Entre-vues" at the Escales Liées festival 2018 (at the Venice Biennale and at the Parc de la Villette in Paris).

Since 2018, he has founded and developed Holophore, a creative kit for creating and projecting stories in holograms. First prize in the Les Entrep' 2019 competition (Île-de-France), competing with 13 inspiring projects. It continues to be successfully received by the public today: exhibitions, workshops, and events across France.

Since 2021, Jules has been working regularly with Les Allumeurs de Rêves, a key video mapping studio in France (and particularly in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes) that has illuminated the most beautiful monuments in the region and beyond. Graphic design, as well as iconographic and historical research, are notably the components of his assignments.
