NAS to SharePoint Migration Project Manager

Implementation of a plan for migrating data from NAS servers for over 1900 entities to SharePoint Online sites.

Set up an initial pilot batch with 3 regions over the first 3 months. (migrations of ~500 entities)

-> Implementation of a sharing industrialization file with stakeholders.

-> Implementation of a daily migration schedule for the year 2024.

-> Organization of occasional and regular Teams workshops for onboarding and run.

-> Creation of documentation for the different entities; On-boarding documentation, SharePoint site usage and management tutorial documentation, Best Practices documentation for site managers, tutorial videos for SharePoint operations, etc...

-> Implementation of a communication plan for employees; D-45, D-20, D-7, D+1.

-> Power Automate script for automatic pre/post migration communication.

-> Data migration using ShareGate.

Year 2024: + 1900 entities migrated and 50% reduction in the final total volume compared to the total volume on NAS.

Migration of 6000 devices to Intune

-> Project planning

= Creation of an explanatory text to be distributed to all employees with the project context, the deadline, choices of possible time slots (4 slots per day), sharing of a step-by-step PDF procedure to encourage autonomy, as well as a "Common Problems" section listing all issues that may be encountered during the process.

= Organization of video workshops with employees to carry out the migration procedure for those who wish to be accompanied (5 to 50 people per 1-hour slot).

-> Creation of a tracking Excel file with the names of each employee, the chosen time slot (time + day) or the choice of autonomy, the migration progress status (profile validated yes/no), as well as a comment section in case of an isolated problem.
