Juan Sisto

Juan Sisto has been a photographer and audiovisual creator for 20 years, during which he has worked on a wide variety of projects across all continents.

His beginnings were largely in television, recording for news, reports, and current affairs programs for networks such as Cuatro, TVE1, Antena3, and CMtv.

He also worked for series produced by Diagonal TV, Bambú producciones, and The Lab cinema, among others.

Documentary photography began to be a very important point in his career, traveling the planet in search of inspiring stories for different publication formats, such as the photographic documentation of Spanish missionaries around the world for the OMP, or making travel and adventure reports for international magazines such as Traveller by Conde Nast, the magazine Descobrir, MTBpro, Salvaje, or the magazine Avianca.

He has directed documentaries such as Horizonte Norte and Bajo un nuevo Sol and has been in charge of the direction of photography of audiovisual pieces such as “Antarctica, exploring the other Pole” or “Ode to Nowhere” for Olympus and has shot many others with different international production companies.

Advertising is also part of his work and he has carried out campaigns for Banco Santander, Milka, AECC, Glassy Europe, Cumulus Outdoor, Leatherman, Juve y Camps, Olympus, Berghaus, and Panama Jack.

None of this would have been possible if throughout his life Juan had not continued with his personal life projects, which has led him to give inspirational conferences with platforms such as TEDx or Minube.
