About Josjah

There are three things I love in life: writing for film, discovering new worlds (physical and intellectual), and dogs.

My education as a Cultural Anthropologist and passion for film turned me into a creative chameleon. A researcher that masters qualitative target audience research. A creative soul that uses words and images as an outlet to convey beautifully crafted messages.

For over 10 years now, I have been creating compelling video's and texts for marketing and advertising purposes. I have worked for any industry imaginable: arts, law, finance, fashion, online coaching, you name it, I've helped them create text and film that converts.

Along the way I not only perfected my craft in writing and filmmaking, I also created brainstorming methods that help my clients get to the core of their message. In one of those session, a client named me: 'the sweetest devil's advocate you will ever meet'.

    Deducing the key message of clients out of a sometimes elaborate briefing, and bring down the message to it's core into a maximum of 200 words. This is followed by a creative session with the designer to create a compelling storyboard that uses the messaging power of image to lift the message of the voice over text to the next level.

    My experience as a filmmaker (and thus creating stories in word AND image) is essential in my success as a copywriter for voice overs. I know what words I can leave out because the images will tell a big part of the story as well, sometimes even better than words could ever do.

    At In60Seconds I have written 4 voice overs a day, 4 days a week, for 1,5 year, and for a broad range of industries, ranging from law, to finance, to ministries, to cultural organizations. Clients in my portfolio were a.o. Rabobank, Elsevier, Toto.
