Joseph Guiard

After obtaining a Master's degree in digital creation, specializing in illustration, from Lim'art, part of the Y-nov group in Bordeaux, I worked for myself for three years. One of these years was dedicated to traveling in West Africa as a "digital nomad". I have since worked as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator/2D Animator in a mobile video game company based in Mauritius. These last fourteen months in this company have refined my sense of aesthetics, my knowledge of user interfaces, my ability to stay up-to-date with current trends, and to easily target a specific clientele. I also lived for a year in the United States, and I worked during my studies as a counselor and assistant director of leisure centers. I have traveled to a number of countries, and have been exposed to a wide range of different cultures and social backgrounds, so I believe I have acquired a certain ease in adapting to all types of requests, and I can easily connect to understand and appropriate a client's requests, whether private or professional. I particularly enjoy working on the design of different projects and across various media, as I find it important to be versatile, and juggling different platforms allows for constant renewal and diversification. I am dynamic and can be counted on given my motivation and open-mindedness. In addition to my training in illustration, I studied architecture and visual arts. I also have some knowledge of 3D if needed, and I participated in the creation of several 2D animated short films. I have always been passionate about digital design and the arts in general, and I believe I can be an asset to your projects if we have the opportunity to work together.
