About José

I have 20 years of professional experience in various contexts and large projects.
14 years of learning in the agile & lean field, in perpetual continuous improvement in this area. With now about seven years of active experience as an Agile Product Coach and more recently as a ProKanban.org Trainer, I lead teams, services, and departments to deliver more value by optimizing their flows through the Kanban strategy.
I co-led the Agile community of the public institution CDC for a few years.
I still support the transformation of this institution today towards a product-oriented culture. In particular, I created an internal academy in agile product management.

My expertise and passion lie in the human-computer interface (UX), test automation, lean/agile management (Scrum, Nexus, etc.), product management, flow optimization (Kanban), constraint theory, systems thinking, and many other useful connected areas for making companies and the people within them thrive.

I hold several certifications from Scrum.org, APMG International, ProKanban.org, Org Topologies, and I am on a continuous improvement journey with the Tameflow approach while being mentored by Steve Tendon.

I have direct experience with the Japanese work method and its culture of results as a team, even sacrifice for the team.

I enjoy mentoring, teaching, coaching, and simply unlocking the potential of individuals or collectives.

  • Groupe Caisse des Dépôts
    Change Agent - Product Approach
    July 2022 - Today (3 years and 11 months)
    Paris, France
On a change management mission for the public institution as part of the transition to a product approach: Systemic transformation of the institution with the goal of being more efficient in serving the general interest.
To this end, I support teams, services, and departments in delivering more value. My approach is based on lean and agility for efficient, effective, and predictable product management.
I draw on my expertise and experience in BDD, UX, and development, as well as Scrum mastering and Kanban mastering, to mentor, teach, coach, and facilitate the transformation. Constraint theory, queueing theory, system variability, modern statistical control, systems thinking, and Management 3.0 are among my skills.

Working with me means maximizing your chances for at least +20% efficiency, a significant reduction in time to market (>30%), and increased predictability for greater stakeholder confidence.

Not to mention happier employees who enjoy coming to work and are motivated to accomplish meaningful things.

Finally, I train in agile product management, value flow optimization (Kanban), Scrum, and Nexus for frameworks. As a co-owner of the CDC's Product Management Academy, I ensure that POs/PMs/Leaders have all the necessary tools to maximize the value of their products and mentor them to acquire them if needed.
  • Groupe Caisse des Dépôts
Accompanying CDC's Digital Transformation - Agile Operational Model Component
    June 2020 - Today (6 years)
    Paris, France
As part of CDC's platform strategy and its digital transformation, I contribute my skills in Agility, UX, Product Management, and Agile Leadership to bring the new operational framework to life (bringing to life = raising awareness among employees and managers, progressive evolution of the framework towards greater agility). The objective is to gradually transform our practices from a project-based approach to a product-based approach. To achieve this, I co-lead the public institution's Agile community, and my colleagues and I contribute to:
    - Establishing better job descriptions with HR services aligned with new roles,
    - Incorporating the right skills (hard and soft) into our GPEC (Skills Management),
    - Improving the recruitment process for new roles by supporting recruiters in identifying suitable profiles.
    Furthermore, we are working on:
    - Developing a training program for adopting Agility and frameworks aligned with different employee levels,
    - Coaching various departments and services to change their project management practices (> product management), their hierarchical structure organization (flattening), and their management approach,
    - Coaching individuals changing roles (e.g., project manager > Product Owner or team lead > Scrum Master).
