Member of the payment team for 3 years, I was responsible for two main areas. First, ensuring compliance with fund management for SVA numbers. Second, interconnecting with a new provider to enable SEPA direct debit payments. (+ management and processing of pain001/8/2 files)

Member of the IoT squad composed of 2 hardware/production engineers and 2 software engineers, my first mission was to set up a service for installing our operating system on hardware directly from an assembly line. (Service based on PXE boot, Ansible, etc.).

I was then asked to write a Golang service to communicate with devices installed on a ship via the Modbus protocol.

The third project I implemented is a Go service used to parse NMEA (and AIS) text protocol frames and store the information in a database (e.g., GPS, ground speed, sea speed).

Finally, I put on my DevOps hat again by creating installation, update, and maintenance recipes for our park (mostly based on Ansible, bash, docker-compose).

I joined Blippar as a web developer right after graduation.

After quickly (3 months) getting up to speed with the company's backend (Image recognition service, web tool for creating AR interactions, etc.), I then became a backend developer on a PHP stack.

Discovering Golang around the same time, I was able to improve my skills in this technology through various internal and personal projects.

After a few months, it was clear that the current PHP infrastructure would not allow for significant expansion of the company and interaction volume. A redesign was therefore necessary (Data model, DB choices, framework, containerization, etc.).

So, with a colleague, I had the audacity to propose a micro-service architecture in Go to succeed the old one. After a year and a half, the project was finally 100% complete (from the design of the new model to the migration of the last service).

Over the next few years, I had the chance to witness considerable expansion of the company (from 40 to 200 employees, increase in interaction volume...) which, without the redesign of the original infrastructure, would not have been as rapid, or even possible.
