About Jorge

I am a UX/UI designer with over a decade of experience in project management, using agile methodologies and continuous improvement cycles. My mission is to create user-centered products, fine-tuning interaction design down to the last detail.

I studied Fine Arts in Madrid, and finished some years ago. When I finished my degree, I moved to London and lived there for almost two years. Upon returning to Madrid, I studied a master's degree in cultural project management. From there, I have continued my education with other courses in digital marketing and management tools in the different positions I have held. I recently completed the III Great Course of Visual and Interaction Design, at La Nave Nodriza.

I have worked in different companies performing functions of project management, international team management, design, etc. I currently work as a freelancer for companies in the technology and intellectual property sectors.

I strive for excellence in everything I do, and for that, I am aware that constant iteration is the way. I believe in work teams where a climate of information and knowledge sharing is fostered, and an honest relationship between the different members. Empathy, trust, and collaboration...

PAF is a Finnish public company that manages the gambling monopoly in Finland. In this company, I was part of the client team. It's quite enriching for me because this team directly listens to the clients, and our product vision is very different from what a marketing team member might have. Within this team, my main role was to manage projects related to the training of Customer Service agents and those of the 2nd line team (with a more technical profile). Here, I designed the training strategy for team members, as it didn't exist when I started, and I also conducted research to analyze our clients' main pain points, customized the CRM to adapt it to the team's needs, among many other things.

LuxVisual is a startup that provides online sales clubs like Showroomprivé, Amazon Buyvip (which no longer exists and this segment is integrated within Amazon), Privalia, Vente-exclusive (currently Veepee), and others. When I joined the company, the business was very localized in Spain, and they wanted to internationalize. They also lacked a solid corporate identity and communication strategy. Therefore, the first thing I did was create the LuxVisual brand (logo, visual design, tone of voice, etc.). Once the brand was created, we designed a communication strategy (highlighting the product's strengths and the advantages of our service) and finally conducted a study to identify potential clients. We started contacting them and showing them our product. The strategy we designed worked, and that's when we began working with the international companies mentioned earlier. In summary, in this first stage, I focused on analyzing the existing product (and introducing necessary improvements) and acquiring new clients by designing a communication strategy that allowed us to reach potential customers.

In a second stage of my work at that company, we continued to improve our internal processes and identify possible improvements to the service we offered. Notably, during this stage, we implemented SAP as an enterprise management software and introduced warehouse mechanization, which significantly reduced order fulfillment time.
