1 Installation and Infrastructure
As a Network and Telecom Technician at Matrix Telecoms, my main mission was to ensure the installation, configuration, and deployment of infrastructures to guarantee optimal connectivity. This included commissioning active equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) from recognized brands and managing structured cabling, particularly the connection and measurement of fiber optics (FTTx) and copper. I was also responsible for implementing IP telephony solutions (ToIP/VoIP), ensuring the proper integration of network protocols (VLAN, OSPF, SIP) to guarantee quality of service (QoS) on voice and data networks.
2 Maintenance, Support, and Responsibilities
I played an essential role in maintaining high service availability through preventive and corrective maintenance of network architectures. My responsibility covered the diagnosis and rapid resolution of Level 2 incidents, with a strong focus on reducing service interruption time (SLA). I used monitoring tools to anticipate failures and was in charge of technical documentation (architecture diagrams, operating procedures). This experience allowed me to develop solid expertise in complex troubleshooting and technical support for Matrix Telecoms clients and users.
