About Jolan

I contributed to the development of an innovative medical device for quantifying the risk of intracranial aneurysm rupture based on mechanics. After exploring the research and entrepreneurial aspects of this project, I am looking for new scientific and technical challenges in Switzerland!

Motivated by contexts where I can apply my skills to demanding technical projects in simulation, prototyping, or at the interface between research, design, and experimental validation.

As a general engineer from Centrale, I dedicated 4 years to this still unexplored research project at LTDS, which led to my PhD in Mechanics. I developed multiple scientific skills in mechanics, multiphysics modeling using finite element methods (FEA/FEM, CFD, Fluid/Structure Interaction FSI), and in implementing novel parallels between digital and experimental approaches (in vitro and in vivo). I also worked on the entrepreneurial valorization of my work, facing the challenges inherent in creating a Deeptech startup.

We published 7 scientific articles in 4 years in international journals, secured funding from the National Research Agency to continue the work, and I was an i-PhD laureate of the France 2030 innovation competitions to advance the development of this new medical device.

After dedicating myself to this project, I am seeking projects where I can apply my multidisciplinary vision to fulfill assigned missions and continue to learn and grow alongside you!
