Description

I am Johan de Ruyter and photography played an important role in my youth.

After about ten years, I felt the need for more challenge and started with video.

After various courses and several corporate video projects, I ended up at NOB in Hilversum.

But the high-paced production work there did not appeal to me, and I went into education.

Yet the creative aspect kept drawing me, and I started my own business as a cameraman/video editor.

Through creating display videos at exhibitions,

videos I make are now part of exhibited artworks.

I do all this alongside my work for Aavisie, the local broadcaster for Almelo.
