Joffrey Bourdet

After graduating in English studies, I worked on various translation and interpreting projects in Bordeaux, Paris and Dublin, with excellent feedback. I then do web content writing as well as translations of websites and applications in various fields (online stores, language learning applications, wine and spirits, robotics, deeptech). You can see examples in my portfolio.

In 2018, I met New York Times bestselling author Brenda Hiatt and began my career as a literary translator. I have since translated around twenty novels ranging from science fiction to historical romance.

In 2022, I joined the team of the Youtube channel TransormationalCoaching to create personal development video content. I also act as a French interpreter to translate live conferences given on Zoom.

I advocate a faithful translation while emphasizing literary quality and rhythm. Please note that French to English will take me longer than the reverse if you want to maintain excellent quality of expression.
