Bigblue is the next-generation logistics platform for e-merchants.

We enable them to delight their customers through simple, ultra-reliable, and empowering logistics.

Within the product team (engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists), I worked on various parts of the project, developing new features for the product and maintaining existing ones:

- Essential contributions to the development of Bigblue's internal WMS (receiving, printing, storage, picking, measuring, restocking, and interface between OMS / WMS)

- Architecture and development of the EDI parcel tracking system

- Improvement of the internal billing system for merchants

- Development of the returns and refund portal via store credit through the Shopify API

- Integration with various carrier APIs & EDIs (Colis Privé, B2C Europe, ...)

- Integration with customer support tools (Zendesk, Gorgias)

- Responsibility for several microservices

- Internal knowledge sharing and presentations on engineering topics

Bigblue allowed me to progress in many important aspects of the engineering profession:

- Proposing solutions and architectural designs, then iterating on them with other engineers

- Writing clear product specifications with varying levels of detail to aid understanding of proposed solutions for both technical and non-technical profiles, and gathering improvements

- Being responsible for a reasonably sized project and organizing a team's work (1 product manager, 2/3 engineers or designers) to complete it on time

- Performing code reviews with high-quality standards

In Bangkok, I worked on the development of the Manatal.com Applicant Tracking System:

- Token authentication for the third-party application

- OAuth flow to integrate Google's Gmail API

- Query optimization to improve backend API response time

More broadly:

- Improvement of the backend REST API (data schema evolution and new endpoints)

- Migration of integrated client data

Let's put an end to mountains of electronic waste with Murfy, an online home appliance repair service that allows you to book an appointment with a professional repair person in just a few clicks.

Within Murfy's product team (engineers/developers), I contributed to the development of the application for users (murfy.fr), particularly its booking portal, as well as various internal tools to optimize operations:

- Development of several user interfaces (UI) for the booking portal with React.

- Overall improvement of the backend REST API (data schema evolution and creation of new endpoints).

- Python script to automate the synchronization of operational data with Google Sheets.

- Writing technical documentation on development best practices within the team.

- Development, at the end of the internship, of the technical strategy for resolving tasks in Trello tickets.
