Jo Abbott

I work part-time at The Welsh School of Architecture, which is a really creative and inspirational place to work. I fulfil any print and marketing materials for the school and manage the school's website pages and intranet.

I am a freelance graphic designer, producing creative solutions for both online and offline communications, for a variety of high profile clients in both the public and private sectors. I thrive on taking a project from initial briefing through to final artwork. My services include branding, brochures, leaflets, exhibitions, promotional items and web design. www.joabbott.co.uk

My role at Black Sheep was to manage my own projects and deliver creative results. I built up a dynamic portfolio of work for the company including brand identities, corporate literature, annual reports, exhibition work and promotional items. I worked with many high-profile clients, both in the private and public sectors (such as the Arts Council of Wales, Cardiff University, Wales Millennium Centre, S4C, Cardiff County Council, Sports Council for Wales and Welsh Development Agency). I would liaise with clients on a regular basis to make sure each project ran smoothly. I have the ability to communicate very well with clients and colleagues during formal and informal presentations and meetings. I maintained good relationships with all clients therefore ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. I thoroughly enjoy this area and having to respond to their needs quickly and effectively. I also have extensive print industry knowledge.
