Jérôme Velociter

Senior product engineer and tech lead, I design and deliver complex software products end-to-end — from architecture to production.

20 years of web development, half of which as a co-founder. I have built products from scratch and operated them in production: an open-source e-commerce platform that is still running 12 years later, an industrial control system deployed on 3 continents. I have also structured teams, recruited, managed, raised funds, and contributed to marketing in a startup context. This dual technical and entrepreneurial experience enriches my way of working.

On a daily basis, I am as comfortable taking technical lead of a product as I am writing code on the most demanding parts: frontend, backend, infrastructure.

Types of missions:

— Build a new product, from prototype to production

— Take technical lead of a product or team

— Stabilize, refactor, or evolve an existing system

— Provide senior support on complex topics (performance, architecture, infrastructure)

Stack: TypeScript, Python, React, GraphQL, Go, Ansible, ... Frontend, backend, infrastructure, industrial IoT.

Based in Toulouse, with possible travel to Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, and Angers. Available full-time or 3-4 days/week for long-term assignments.
