Greenfield project aimed at streamlining and implementing the bank's shock scenario management application, as part of FRTB.

The application primarily allows:
– Calculators to deform their market data via a REST API.
– Managers to configure scenarios, methodologies by type of risk factor, and select the data sources necessary for shock calculations.
– Calculation and auditing of shocks and deformations produced.

Roles on the project:
– Understand functional requirements and assist in domain modeling.
– Define and evolve technical architecture.
– Define and evolve the technical stack.
– Define development standards, best practices, and processes.
– Assist and support developers in their daily work (5 in Paris, 5 in Bangalore).
– Perform code reviews.
– Develop parts of the project.
– Resolve major performance issues.

The main principles with which the application is developed:
– DDD, CQRS / ES, BDD, TDD, and living documentation.
– Microservices, clean architecture, and clean code.

One of the main challenges of the project is to support the load of calculators heavily using the application's REST API (several million calls over a few hours).
