About Jeroen

I, Jeroen Cremer, believe: I am a true believer in the inside-out school. I want to build brands from a strong vision and own identity. Since Simon Sinek, we call this the 'why'. The why inspires and provides direction. The choice for brand and communication agency BSUR (be as you are) was therefore quickly made. But when I sat down with both smaller national and larger international clients, I discovered how little the various meaning-givers of these brands were 'on brand'. And in an exploded media landscape, this challenge is greater than ever. My curiosity to crack this nut was born. How do I ensure that every sigh is on brand? With a well-calibrated brand compass! With it, companies can seize the opportunities of media fragmentation, such as real interaction.

To learn more about this, I immersed myself in the Master of Brand Management program at Erasmus University. In addition to a thesis on 'The brand as a guide for organizations' and the accompanying Master's degree, this gave me many valuable insights into brand-driven success.

Meanwhile, I set up the Brand Consulting department at BSUR. This created the ideal combination of the latest brand insights and their concrete application in practice, and I was able to further develop my ideas about a brand compass. To keep the brand's horsepower on the road tomorrow, I also followed various (online) training courses such as: Internet Marketer, Recruitment & Millennials, UX Design, and Customer Journey Development.

Under the banner of 'Future proofing brands', I regularly post on platforms like Marketing Tribune and Marketing Facts, where I interpret trends from my Brand Disruption books.

In recent years, I have been helping start-ups/scale-ups with their branding to do what they stand for (see portfolio examples below). Because real, living brands simply perform better, as proven.

I also enjoy traveling, photography, and concerts. In addition to running, I enjoy spending time on the water as a competitive sailor.

Part of this approach involves identifying and protecting only the most crucial data. iRISK has developed a special tool to decide what kind of data this is and what its digital security weaknesses are.
    Solution: A laser focus on the retail domain and the special tool. This then translates into PMC's (product-market-combinations), a concrete product idea, a business development plan, and a completely new (visual) brand identity that expresses the philosophy: 'secure only what matters'.
