Jean-Jacques Lonni

Director, screenwriter, graphic designer, designer and consultant in animated media technology.

Trained in graphic arts at Elisabeth Lemmonier and then at the Gobelins School of Image and Animation, he worked as a 1st assistant director and storyboard artist on animated TV series (Pif, Omer, Sharky and Georges...), then as an animator (Pixibox, Savec), and director (Ernest le Vampire). In 1990, he became a special effects graphic designer in high-end post-production (Flame and Henry Quantel) and post-produced commercials, TV branding, opening credits, and corporate films for France Télévisions, M6, TF1, L’Oréal, Givenchy, Hermès, Unilever, Renault, Toyota, Hasbro, Agfa etc...

He created the studio Digital Salade in 1999 to produce and direct commissioned films in animation and computer-generated imagery for Gédéon Programmes, France 3, Areva, Véolia, SNCF, Publicis Events, ddb, Lintas, etc. He is a three-time winner of the CNC Innovation Grant. In museology, he has collaborated with Studio-k/Opixido and DikDak Production since 2005 and has directed numerous programs or infographics (Vulcania, Palais de l’univers, Musée de l’air, Planétarium de Montpellier, Marée Nostrum, Citée Royale de Loche, Futuroscope).

Proficient software: Adobe Suite Master, 3dsmax, Blender, Open Source Office Suite, Toon Boom Storyboard Pro.

Software taught: Blender, After Effects, Premiere, Toon Boom Storyboard Pro.
