Jean-Christophe Piot

At 42 years old, I have been working in the journalism and editorial communication sector for about twenty years. After holding the position of Head of Communication for the City of Feyzin (Rhône, 10,000 inhabitants), I was Director of Communication for the City of Vienne (Isère, 31,000 inhabitants). This experience in the public sphere complements a career of several years at Noir sur Blanc, a Parisian press relations agency.

A writing professional, a graduate of Sciences Po Lyon and the University of Lyon III (Master's degree in Ancient History), I work with about twenty web, print, and radio media outlets, agencies, and advertisers in France, Switzerland, and Belgium.

I regularly contribute to several French media outlets ("Déjà-vu" section on France Info, "Tu parles d’une histoire" column on Radio Nova) and Swiss outlets (Le Matin, l’Hebdo, Technologist, Hémisphères, Swissquote Magazine, Alumnist, PME Magazine…). I collaborate with the editorial teams of various company magazines and for the magazines of several higher education institutions.

I am also the author of a novel and historical columns, as well as several books for young people, most often on the myths and religions of Antiquity.
