About Jean-Christian

After a career as a researcher at the CNRS in statistical physics, I wish to continue working. I have experience in algorithms and programming, as many of the problems I have solved were numerical. But I also have hardware experience as I actively participated in the creation of a parallel machine dedicated to the simulation of complex systems. I wrote the C++ library for a very sophisticated measurement and control device sold to several laboratories worldwide.

Furthermore, I took a one-year sabbatical to work at SECAD, where I developed one of the first embedded devices that provided assistance for managing a public transport network (in this case, Perpignan's) as well as assistance for drivers. I also have image processing experience acquired through several ad-hoc contracts with the same company.

During 2002, I wrote the application software for an extremely powerful measurement device marketed by the Néel laboratory, mainly a library interfaced with several GUIs. Then in 2019, I added a Raspberry Pi that allows connecting the trmc2 via TCP/IP to a 'local area network', which involved solving delicate real-time problems.
