I was commissioned by Tereos to unblock a critical communication issue between their industrial robots and their monitoring application. Without this connection, it was impossible to modernize their tools, and the development of the app and new processes was stalled.

Tereos manages sugar factories where beet trucks arrive continuously. Each step (quality measurement, sampling, sorting, shredding) depends on real-time data from the robots. A communication failure stops the entire production chain.

Actions taken:

- Development of a middleware to establish bidirectional communication between robots (OPC UA) and the Mendix application

- Implementation of a state management system with Redis to ensure continuity of exchanges, even in case of incidents

- Integration of Kafka to ingest and replay production events in case of failure

- Deployment and monitoring of the solution on the virtual machines of the different factories

👉 Results obtained:

- Complete unblocking of the mobile application development and new business tools

- No loss of critical data thanks to the automatic replay system

- Reliable real-time communication in a demanding industrial environment (continuous flow of trucks, instant quality measurements)

People First Technologies was developing an AI-based HR tracking PWA application to improve workplace well-being. We started from scratch with solid foundations, while structuring a mixed team (senior/junior) to deliver a scalable product deployable to multiple clients.

I acted as Tech Lead to establish the technical architecture and guide the team towards autonomy.

Actions taken:

- Design and implementation of the technical foundation (Flask/Python + Angular 15 to 17, PWA) with an architecture designed for scalability and long-term maintainability

- Integration of Keycloak for multi-tenant authentication management, facilitating future deployment to different clients

- Management of technical debt and project trajectory through regular workshops with the architect

- Skill development of the junior developer through pair programming, code reviews, and continuous technical mentoring

- Story mapping and prioritization of deliverables to ensure product coherence and reduce unnecessary development

👉 Results obtained:

- Application sold to a major client, validating the technical and business viability of the product

- Team became autonomous: the junior developer now delivers independently, the team produces faster and with higher quality

- Stable technical foundation preventing costly refactoring and enabling frictionless scaling

I joined OPCO EP at a time when the organization wanted to modernize its information system, previously managed in a Waterfall model, to adopt agile practices and accelerate the deployment of its digital services.

The business teams did not master the new working methods (agile, continuous delivery), and the IT department needed to structure a Digital Factory capable of rapidly delivering high-value digital products.

I was responsible for the front-end pole and supported this transformation, managing a team of 4 to 6 front-end developers.

Actions taken:

- Analysis of business needs, impact assessment, and capacity planning management to prioritize deliveries

- Design of the front-end software architecture and guarantee of good development practices (code review, quality, security, testing)

- Onboarding of business teams to agile practices and new collaboration methods with tech

- Writing and validation of Technical User Stories to streamline the transition from requirements to development

- Management and skill development of the front-end team on modern standards (architecture, CI/CD, automated testing)

👉 Results obtained:

- Deployment of 3 structuring digital services: the Apprenticeship Hub (developed from scratch), the Apprenticeship Simulator, and My Online Services

- Transition from a rigid Waterfall IT system to an agile organization capable of continuous delivery

- Autonomous business teams in expressing their needs and aligned with technical capabilities
