Position held within the Directorate of Building and Technology - IT Systems and Services area, dedicated to the modernization of Building Infrastructure IT Systems and innovation and digital transformation for the Smart Building objective.

Key achievements:

• Leadership of the Building Structural Health Monitoring System Re-engineering. Faced with a situation of fragmented sensor network and data platforms, a new architecture was defined, the backlog was prioritized, and migration to a new unified platform with Azure Data Lakehouse, Databricks, and Power BI was carried out, delivering a unified analytics UI and intelligent building health alarms.

• Leadership of the design of the Building Operational Digital Twin Platform, acting as Product Owner, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and solution providers. The vision, pilot use cases, and architecture for implementation were defined, applying interoperability standards and OT/IT middleware (MQTT-5, OPC-UA) for the integration of BIM models, management systems (SCADA/BMS), and new IoT systems, resulting in a unified platform to support construction operations.

SITA (www.sita.aero) is a global leader in IT Systems and Services for the Air Transport Industry. Position held within SITA Engineering PMO for Airlines, managing product development projects, data services re-engineering, and R&D, coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the Product Lifecycle, operating in a dynamic global environment driven by mergers and acquisitions.

Key achievements:

• Global operationalization and launch of two flagship products in the Applications portfolio (SITA EWAS and SITA MISSION-WATCH), achieving the transition of both to the DevOps framework and Agile Delivery.

• Management of the design and transition to operations of a new data platform used across various client applications (Azure EventHub, Cosmos DB, APIs technologies).

• Re-engineering and migration to Azure cloud of a weather data service supplied to the avionics systems of user aircraft, using SITA's global air-to-ground data link networks, maintaining uninterrupted service to all users (1,800+ aircraft in 50+ airlines), and reducing support costs through process automation in ServiceNow.

• Leadership of the H2020 AICHAIN innovation project (EU funded) on ‘federated machine learning & blockchain’, to enable collaborative and distributive training of AI models by Air Traffic Management system operators. Executed within the EU Digital European Sky SESAR program, led from start to finish—proposal and execution. Details: aichain-h2020.eu.

• PMO Contributions: Improvement of DevOps cycle agile management templates for products (management and control of epics/features in ServiceNow SPM and Jira); Pilot user in the migration to ServiceNow SPM as the new portfolio management tool; Contributions to the RACI matrix for product Agile-DevOps.

PORTEL (www.portel.es) delivers IT solutions, digital services, and consulting to the port and logistics sector. Initially a Spanish public company, it was acquired by GTD in 2018. Position appointed by GTD within PORTEL's Business Development Unit to support digital transformation and the design of IT solutions for public-private logistics and port ecosystems, and to drive R&D&I initiatives.

Key achievements:

• Design of Smart Port 4.0 solutions in over 12 public tenders, building upon PORTEL's base platforms for B2B/B2G solutions (SaaS and PaaS), and market middleware technologies (Web Apps, APIs, ESB, BPM, IoT and BI, Java EE, Spring, Primeur, WSO2, FIWARE).

• Construction of a technical solutions knowledge base in coordination with product owners and the CTO, optimizing bid preparation and design consistency.

• Introduction of TOGAF and SAFe into PMO consulting practice, improving client service.

• Launch of the new R&D&I program on digital twin of the port-logistics system affiliated with the CIUS3A Innovation Center, with 3 industrial PhD students in collaboration with the University of Seville.
