As a freelance layout designer for Het Nieuwsblad and Gazet van Antwerpen, I review and proofread articles from local journalists, checking for language and spelling errors. I am responsible for the layout of the physical local sections of these newspapers. I ensure that all articles are presented in accordance with the house style guidelines, select appropriate photos, and write the headlines for the newspaper pieces.
