As part of the IT Support Technician training, I led a technical track focused on systems, networks, and virtualization, with an advanced level geared towards professional environments.

The training covered Windows Server administration with the setup and management of an Active Directory: creation and management of users and groups, organizational units (OU), group policies (GPO), management of rights and access, integration of client computers into the domain, and notions of security and authentication.

A significant part was dedicated to advanced Linux, including system administration, user and permission management, services and processes, log analysis, Linux networking, basic system security, and task automation via shell scripting.

The training also covered IT networks in depth: OSI/TCP-IP reminders, IP addressing, DNS, routing, VLANs.

Finally, a section dedicated to virtualization allowed for the creation and management of virtual machines, understanding hypervisors, and setting up technical labs to simulate real environments.

The entire training was based on practical cases, concrete simulations, and a support-oriented, administration, and incident resolution approach, in order to prepare learners for the demands of the profession.
