As part of the modernization and professionalization of Limbua Deutschland's IT application landscape, the existing ERP system was replaced and Dynamics 365 Business Central was introduced. The project focused on migrating existing data from the old system and adapting the new solution to the specific requirements of Limbua Deutschland.

Development of a microservice for generating customer documents.

For customer documents (offers, contracts, etc.), an external software was used in OFCO (see below). The print templates of this software had various disadvantages regarding maintainability, development effort, and testability. To overcome these disadvantages, the PRINT microservice was created. In contrast to the external solution, standardized and widely known markup languages such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript are used. Since the print templates are available in plain text, common review processes can be used in their development. Integration with OFCO is done via a REST interface.
