I use upWork to find to find Software Engineering work or other related work from a day-to-day basis. Allowing me to earn money as a contractor with ease. I keep my account open throughout working contractually/full time employment as I occasionally take on additional small projects to pass time at the weekend and earn a little extra money. Any long term job is included separately in my LinkedIn profile and in my CV . This was where I originally learn of the ability to freelance remotely for various companies before it became a much more well known system for companies during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

▪ Writing the code for new feature or fixing any bugs that the customers or our QA team find (Generally QA catch the bugs before customers). This includes any SQL that needs to be developed, although finally this is passed by myself to the DB Admin team.

▪ Writing JS/Java unit tests.

▪ Taking due care to log time to the correct issues when actively working on an item so this can be logged against Sprint estimates.

▪ Taking part in the Merge Request review process.

▪ Helping other team mates with their work when required.

▪ Work with team as an active player in the Sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews.

▪ Create Knowledge Base Articles / Technical Notes
