James started at 9 years old in C, freelancing at 14 on the internet, interning at 16, employed at 18, core-dev eZ Components at 20, first award at 22 in Norway, enterprise Agile transformation in France at 24... and a great career mainly as a freelancer in web and cloud, hence the quadruple DevOps/backend/frontend/Agile skill set.

In 20 years of professional career, James has worked for large companies such as Bull, Alcatel or the CNRS, in the cloud for Numergy which led him to contribute to OpenStack, as well as for small startups or SMEs that he is passionate about, but also on a voluntary basis for groups like Quadrature du Net on the Memopol project which is famous for being the critical software to block the European legislation of the ACTA project, or on secure online voting software using homomorphic encryption for Electis.

His goal in life is to put cutting-edge technology at the service of his peers, and that's mainly in Python with Linux, with HTML/CSS/JS for the web interface.

James has numerous Open Source contributions, including: 1 commit in Python (security patch), 8 commits in Django, 15 commits in Ansible...
