During my one-month internship at Cave de l’Intendant in Bordeaux, I had the opportunity to work in a truly prestigious environment, interacting with a demanding and passionate clientele. It's a wine cellar renowned for the quality of its selection, featuring many great wines and classified first growths from Bordeaux, which immediately put me in a very professional mindset.

On a daily basis, I participated in receiving orders: checking deliveries, verifying references, organizing and arranging boxes in the storage area, all while being careful when handling the bottles. I also contributed to stocking shelves and product facing to ensure the sales area remained clear, attractive, and well-presented. This taught me to be rigorous, fast, and to maintain a good sense of detail.

I was also involved in customer relations: welcoming, listening to needs, guiding customers based on their budgets and tastes, and offering advice on food and wine pairings. I learned how to adapt my communication based on the client's knowledge level and how to highlight a wine without 'overselling,' remaining honest and precise. Finally, I assisted with more general tasks such as inventory tracking, preparing customer orders, and general shop maintenance. This internship allowed me to gain confidence, autonomy, and a sense of service, while strengthening my interest in the world of sales.
