I enjoy creating digital tools that help people perform their tasks faster and better. My mission is to write sustainable code instead of quickly making something work and not looking back.
When I write code, I do it very neatly. By regularly refactoring, I make it better and better. I document my code so that it is transferable to others. I use open-source libraries to create well-functioning, fast, and secure platforms. I verify that my code works properly with unit tests and end-to-end tests. I also continue to improve myself, learning new frameworks and languages in my spare time.
After 7 years in permanent employment at various companies, I started as a freelancer in 2012. I am also a co-founder of Roots of Me, a software house for digital tools for therapists and healthcare.
In addition to my "hard skills" as a full-stack developer, I am also a good sparring partner when it comes to product development. I enjoy helping to translate good ideas into technical solutions.
