During my time as a Product Designer / Stylist at Verhees Textiles, I fulfilled a fascinating and versatile role in the textile industry. My responsibilities included identifying trends and translating these trends into innovative prints for our collections. This required thorough exploration of design fairs and market research to capture the latest trends and convert them into unique designs. An important aspect of my role was communication with other designers and international suppliers. Requesting strike-offs from these suppliers and maintaining good relationships with them were crucial to ensuring the highest quality of our products. Additionally, I worked closely with the marketing department to develop mood boards that strengthened the brand vision and made our collections visually appealing. By analyzing sales figures from previous collections, I was able to gain valuable insights that helped shape future designs. Creating innovative color combinations and designing prints that complemented the collection while meeting our customers' needs was central to my work. This role allowed me to fully utilize my creativity and make a direct impact on the market performance of our products. It was a challenging and inspiring experience that further refined my skills in product design and styling.

As a Dolphin Trainer at Dolphin Academy Curaçao, I was responsible for training dolphins during various programs and shows, such as swim programs, snorkel programs, and encounters. In this role, I combined my passion for animals with my skills in training and care. I was responsible for preparing and feeding the dolphins, closely monitoring the correct feeding protocols. Additionally, I conducted health checks and assisted the veterinarian with medical treatments to ensure the health and well-being of the dolphins. My work focused on creating a safe and stimulating environment for the animals, while simultaneously enabling unforgettable experiences for visitors.
