Jacek Wasilewski

I am an automation engineer with over 10 years of professional experience and a strong electrical background. For the past 8 years, I have been working as a PLC software engineer, also gaining experience in leading roles such as production coordinator and PLC project leader. I am open to working worldwide. Outside of work, I am passionate about martial arts and chess.

My main technical strength is Siemens PLC technology, with more than 8 years of hands-on experience. I have worked extensively with Step 7, TIA Portal, and WinCC. I am very comfortable working with large and complex software systems and understand their structure and logic well. I am capable of developing both software and hardware solutions from scratch, as well as maintaining, extending, and rebuilding existing control software and logic.

Throughout my career, I have commissioned numerous automated stations and complete production lines. These projects included a wide range of processes such as screwing, gluing, pressing, welding, camera-based inspection, MES data handling, transport systems, rework stations, and robotic cells. I have solid experience working with industrial communication protocols including Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.

I strongly value soft skills and believe they are just as important as technical expertise. I focus on teamwork, mutual support, and clear communication, especially during demanding commissioning phases. I am goal-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively according to the current project stage.

Most of my clients are based in Germany, which motivated me to learn the German language. Curretly I speak B1 level, but my aim is C1 in next 1,5 year.
