Iris Renou

Passionate screenwriter, I write for various media and in various forms, working on short films, feature films, and series.

Primarily focused on genre cinema but equally familiar with drama and absurd comedy, I am dedicated to developing the potential of the works I am asked to work on. Committed to the psychological coherence of characters, I place great importance on the emotional impact of narratives and particularly on their symbolic meaning. I also work on script inclusivity and representativeness.

Services:

- Script-doctoring, analysis of rhythm, narrative structure, characterization... as part of a consulting approach.

- Support in the writing/rewriting process, production of literary bibles, synopses, or continuity scripts (short films, feature films, series/web series, commercials, video games, comic books).

- Inclusivity and diversity monitoring, sensitivity reading.

- Original creation (autonomous or collaborative).

- Reading reports, concise feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of a script.

- Proofreading and editing.

Experience:

My first film has been selected for about thirty festivals and received press coverage. My second short film is in post-production.

Education:

Graduated top of my class in Screenwriting-Dialogue-Adaptation from the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français in 2020.
