Within the ManoMano Data team in a Safe Agile context. I was responsible for supporting various needs related to AWS infrastructure and Cloud. My priority was to continuously improve the existing infrastructure so that the Data teams could benefit from reliable solutions.

Context:

This assignment took place at a GRTGAZ entity called RIO, comprising approximately 60 people. It is responsible for transforming GRTGAZ's IT system by modernizing it with modern paradigms: Cloud, Serverless, NoSQL. The organization operates in Agile/Safe mode with about ten product scrum teams and a system team. I joined the system team, and my role was to provide CI/CD tools for the development teams, evolve common technical foundations, participate in architecture design, and implement a cross-functional monitoring solution.

Achievements:

● Migration of Cloudformation stacks to Terraform

● Management of Amazon Web Services Cloud

● Study for the implementation of a SAST code verification solution

● Provisioning of Terraform modules

● Management of Gitlab CI in SaaS mode (pipeline templates, runners, user management, projects)

● Implementation of a cross-functional monitoring solution with Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloudwatch

● Kafka monitoring

● Validation of architectures for product teams

In the Systems and Networks department. My mission was to maintain a heterogeneous park of about fifty servers running Linux/Windows, as well as network equipment. I provided user support for a park of 130 client machines running Windows XP/7. I was able to propose and implement solutions to improve Linux and Windows infrastructures.

Achievements:

- Administration of servers running Gentoo Linux and Windows Server 2008R2

- Creation of a high-availability emailing architecture with heartbeat, IPVS, and postfix

- Development of a .NET/C# application for meeting room management

- Implementation of an automated Linux machine deployment solution using PXE, bash scripts, and rsync

- Writing a study for the deployment of an enterprise Wi-Fi solution

- Monitoring of servers and equipment with Nagios/Centreon

- Implementation of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007

- Deployment of .NET/C# sites in collaboration with developers
