Hugo Grenier

Holder of a degree in Musicology and a Certificate of Musical Studies in Electro-acoustic composition, I currently produce my own music and have worked on various sound production projects in associative, public, and private sectors.

I primarily compose using Ableton Live with my own tools, namely a sound card, speakers, an AKAI APC 40 MK2 controller, a MASCHINE pad, and the KOMPLETE KONTROL. I also own condenser microphones, a drum recording kit, a TASCAM Mk2 recorder, and a Soundcraft Live 4 16/4/2 mixing console.

During my training at the Bordeaux Conservatory, I worked on Pro Tools and Cubase, broadcast my end-of-year exam pieces on a multi-channel system also known as an acousmonium (9.2, 4.1), and created diffusion spaces between various stereo panels. I also do my own sound recordings, including noise, nature sounds, and analog synthesizer sounds (MS-10, MS-20, MS-30, MS-50, AKS SYNTHI).
