As part of my training, I completed an internship on a construction site where I gained practical insights into civil engineering and road construction. I actively supported the following activities:

Organization and coordination of construction site operations

Earthworks, including preparation and compaction of the subgrade

Laying of cables and accompanying earthworks

Drainage work (e.g., drains)

Sewer construction with laying of various pipe materials

Installation and alignment of manholes

Pipeline construction under practical guidance

Fundamentals of surveying and working with digital terrain models

This internship allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the practical implementation of planning content and improved my technical understanding for future CAD planning in civil engineering.

During my internship on a construction site at WOLFF & MÜLLER, I gained in-depth insights into various workflows in building construction and civil engineering. My tasks included:

Construction and securing of building pits and trenches

Installation of reinforcement and proper placement of concrete

Manufacturing of components in the finishing trades

Installation of pipelines

Construction of ceilings and surfaces

The internship allowed me to supplement my theoretical knowledge from training with practical experience on the construction site and to better understand the collaboration between different trades.

During my training as a construction drafter in the construction and civil engineering sector, I gained comprehensive experience in creating design, permit, and execution plans. I worked with CAD software such as BricsCAD and learned to use BBSoft proficiently for planning roads, drainage, and outdoor facilities. Furthermore, I was involved in communication with specialist planners, authorities, and construction companies, continuously expanding my technical understanding and drafting skills.
