Graphic design and illustration of a series of educational materials for tourist offices and the general public as part of the European BiodivTourAlps project.

Mission:

creation of a clear and accessible editorial framework,

layout of environmental thematic sheets,

original illustrations on human/wildlife interactions,

visual simplification of content related to biodiversity and responsible behavior in the mountains.

Objective:

to make complex subjects understandable and engaging for various audiences, while maintaining a strong pedagogical and naturalist focus.

Deliverables:

print editorial mock-ups,

Creation of a series of botanical illustrations

Creation of a poetic and sensitive universe, inspired by contemporary botanical illustration

Line work: research sketches, simplification of forms, balance between precision and spontaneity

Final vector drawing, designed for flexible use (print, web, educational materials)

Exploration of colored backgrounds and soft contrasts to make subjects emerge without fixing them

Iterative process: from observation to final drawing, with particular attention to rhythm, white space, and legibility

At Yacaba, I am supporting the creation of their new logo and an illustrative universe dedicated to their mission around nature, life, and social impact.
