Harriet King

An ex-Deloitte management consultant, designated accountant, and founder of Ferguson King Consulting. I have international experience working both as a management consultant, specialising, in Strategy and Operations (and more specifically Finance and Performance Management), and as a senior business leader in a number of organizations.

I have extensive experience supporting and managing a wide range of projects from large, multi-year public sector transformations, to fast-paced, independent multi-week engagements. I have led finance teams through budgeting and forecasting, business case preparation and complex modelling for decision support and am passionate about bringing financial information alive to all audiences through storytelling and visual aids. I am comfortable working across all levels of organizations, including C-suite executives, and enjoy building team consensus for change. I am passionate about developing solutions to elevate performance and realize potential, helping organizations solve their most complex problems.

My skills lie in problem solving, process improvement, financial modelling, strategic and operational planning, and change management. I am a skilled writer and storyteller, which when combined with robust financial analysis is the perfect basis for supporting my clients develop compelling business cases. My time at Deloitte also ensures that I consistently deliver quality presentation documents.
