About Halla

With a strong background in consulting (strategy and management, particularly in digital transformation) and e-commerce entrepreneurship, I am now launching into freelancing and am pleased to offer my services in digital and/or IT project management.

Accustomed to working with Agile methodologies (and certified as a Product Owner with PSPO 1), I can also adapt to projects managed using the Waterfall model.

Having studied and worked in 4 countries (France, England, Germany, Morocco), I have also had the opportunity to work on international projects on multiple occasions (e.g., the Clarins mission).

Triple graduate of the Master in Management program from EM Lyon (France), LMU (Germany), and Lancaster University (United Kingdom), my goal will be to leverage my combined experience to serve your project.

More specifically, depending on your needs, I can act as:
- Digital/IT Project Manager (scoping, writing technical and functional specifications, testing/acceptance, change management)
- Product Owner
- Business Analyst
- Strategy Consultant (market analysis, competitive intelligence, commercial/marketing/digital strategy)

Proficient Tools: Confluence, JIRA, Office Suite, Shopify, Facebook/Google Ads

Outside of work? I have been a football coach for 12 years and am certified by the French Football Federation. I currently coach a regional level U17-18 youth team.

    PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Launch of a clienteling iOS mobile application for Clarins sales staff in stores.

    Deployment Objectives:
    - +1500 users
    - +500 points of sale
    - +11 countries across 3 continents

This tool aims to help in-store teams simplify the customer experience by enabling quick creation of customer profiles or shopping carts, and sending personalized communications to customers.

    MY ROLE

In this project, managed using Agile methodology and entirely in English, I took on several roles:
    - Project Manager for the app's deployment in 11 countries (and 3 continents), responsible for the various project phases (scoping, writing technical and functional specifications, testing/acceptance, change management, Go-Live preparation, and Hypercare).
    - Product Owner for the project, responsible for prioritizing tasks among country deployments, app functional evolutions, and managing ongoing operations for already deployed markets.
    - Responsible for the app's backlog of evolutions (functional and technical).
    - Coordinator between the application integrator and the various project teams (central, regional, local) as well as other Clarins departments involved in the project (CRM, Product, Infra & Security, IT).

    MY RESULTS

I successfully managed the launch of this app in 7 countries, including 2 of Clarins' largest markets (in terms of revenue and customers): France and Great Britain.

Over 1000 sales associates in over 300 points of sale now use this mobile application daily.

Beyond country deployments, during this project I was able to:
    - Implement over 10 functional evolutions of the application.
    - Lead 5 Steering Committees (attended by the Group's Board and Regional Directors) and over 100 workshops with more than 10 different countries.
    - Manage over 10 User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases from end to end.
    - Write and update change management and user training documentation through various media (posters, booklets, and videos).

The remaining 4 markets are still in the project phase, with their launch planned for 2023.
